The socket weld elbow is mainly a high-pressure elbow, it is a pipe fitting connection which is formed from round steel or steel ingot by die-forging blanks and then processed by lathes. It is a kind of forged socket series pipe fittings.
Classification
1.According to the degree, it can be divided into 45° socket elbow and 90° socket elbow.
2. According to the pressure level: 3000LB, 6000LB, 9000LB or SCH80, SCH160, XXS.
3. Generally divided into carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, etc. according to raw materials.
Commonly used grades of carbon steel are Q235, 20#, A105,A350LF2, A106 Gr B, A234 WPB etc.;
Commonly used grades of stainless steel are ASTM A182 F304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, 00Cr17Ni14Mo2,ASTM A312, ASTM A403 etc.;
Commonly used grades of alloy materials are 15CrMo, 1Cr5Mo, 16Mn, 12Cr1MoV, F11, F22, 10CrMo910, etc.
