How to install stainless steel flange

Stainless steel flange is actually a disc-shaped part, which is the most common in pipeline engineering.

Flanges are used in pairs.

In pipeline engineering, flanges are mainly used for the connection of pipelines.

So how is the looper stainless steel flange installed?

Step 1

The internal and external dirt of contaminated stainless steel pipes or stainless steel pipe fittings should be cleaned before connection;

Step 2

The connected pipes are each equipped with a flange plate with a grooved ring;

Step 3

Perform a 90° flanging process on the two pipe ports. The surface of the port after flanging should be polished vertically and flat without burrs, unevenness or deformation. The pipe mouth must be rounded with a special tool;

Step 4

The finished flanged short pipe can also be welded on the pipe for use;

Step 5

Insert the stainless steel sealing ring with O-shaped rubber sealing rings installed on both sides into the flange plate with the grooved ring.

The inner hole diameter of the stainless steel sealing ring is the same as the inner diameter of the pipe, and they are both concentric circles;

Step 6

Use bolts to connect the flange holes, and the bolt components must be tightened symmetrically for the connection;

Step 7

During the tightening process, each flange plane of the two pipes is pushed along the axial direction, and the O-rings on both sides are evenly compressed to form a rigid contact and flexible sealing state to seal the joint.
