What is Carbon steel seamless pipe?
Carbon steel seamless pipe is a kind of long steel with hollow cross section and no joint around. It is widely used for conveying fluid pipelines, such as conveying oil, natural gas, gas, water and some solid materials pipelines.
It is also an economic cross-section steel, which is widely used in the manufacture of structural parts and mechanical parts, such as oil drill pipe, automobile drive shaft, bicycle frame and steel scaffolding used in construction, etc.
Carbon steel seamless pipe schedule (sch.)
In the description of steel pipe parameters, the pipe schedule is usually used. The pipe schedule (sch.) is not a wall thickness schedule, but a wall thickness series. Different pipe lengths mean different wall thicknesses of steel pipes of the same diameter. The most frequently indications of schedule are SCH 10, 10S, 20, 20S, 30, 40, 40S, 60, 80, 80S, 100, 120, 140, 160. The larger the table number, the thicker the surface pipe wall, the higher the pressure resistance.
